Encryption software is a tool, and can be dangerous when not used with
caution.  Please take the time to become familiar with this software before
using it on your critical data.  Always make backup copies of any data 
you cannot afford to lose prior to encrypting it. 

Passwords are case-sensitive and must be typed in precisely to decrypt
any data properly.  Passwords are sensitive to spaces and carriage
returns typed either before or after the password text.  Practice using your
passwords and phrases on non-critical data to assure that you can 
accurately enter them. 

Make some test files, and become familiar with the software. Be comfortable
with it prior to using it on any data of value.

These words of caution apply not only to UniCipher but to any encryption
software.  Read the disclaimer below.

Windows 95/NT  may not be copied and distributed to un-licensed locations
or to persons not licensed to use UniCipher.

Licenses must be obtained for each terminal intending to use UniCipher.
No alteration may be made to the program files or documentation.
